I was born and raised in Flushing, Queens, where I began my career as a filmmaker directing my parents in scripted/doc hybrids before I knew that was even a thing. The pilot episode of WHO’S ANNIE?, a comedy series I’m creating, co-writing and directing, premiered at Slamdance 2023, won Best Series at Roma Short Film Festival, Best Pilot at Women's Comedy Film Festival and I was awarded Best Director for my work on it at the Seriesfest Season 9 Independent Pilot Competition. I was a recipient of the NYFA 'Made In NY' grant, a finalist for the ScreenCraft Film Fund, and accepted into The Gotham’s Episodic Lab. I’m currently in development for a series I’ll be directing, created in collaboration with Chris Grosso. After years of working on online series for Vice, Nike, Super Deluxe, Nylon, Genius, and Pitchfork, I’m directing a surreal cooking show, DANNY’S FOOD CORNER, starring queer comedian Lily Marotta (Celebrity Book Club Podcast). My work has been shown at the Whitney Museum of Art, Hauser & Wirth, Abrons Art Center, the Giphy Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives, Contemporary Arts Center, The Queens Museum, Indie Memphis Film Festival, and MoMa. I also conceptualized and directed music videos for artists such as Paramore, Julien Baker, The National, Interpol, Yeasayer, and Junior Boys.
